A substantial piece for any room. This handsome chest is marked by its elegance of detail. It has quarter-round turned columns at the corners, paneled ends and ogee base brackets. The nine drawers are outlined by boxwood inlays and have a highly decorative pattern of simple brass escutcheons and drawer pulls.

Original is English, circa 1780, Chippendale (George III).
