Birdcage revolving tilt-top table. Rare piece of Biggs furniture from the Thomas Jefferson collection.

The original, descended to Martha Jefferson Trist, stands today in the North Square room at Monticello.

This piece was produced after the original used by Thomas Jefferson. The original is believed to have been made by John Hemings, the slave who became a skillful cabinetmaker and executed many of Jefferson's original designs.
