Revolving Tilt-Top Table

Mahogany

This Tripod Pedestal Table, also called a tilt-top table, is a very rare find for us.

Carved from one thickness of mahogany, this table is a pure example of the finest type from the Chippendale Period.

The pie crust top is fine in design and execution, but even more interesting is the carved pedestal with its bird-cage and ball and claw feet.

Original is circa 1760.

H - 29 1/2"
Diameter - 37 1/2"
