Byrd China Table Mahogany This extraordinary table is reproduced from a Williamsburg, Virgina original, circa 1770. It has ties to the Byrd family of Virginia. It is possible that the birds in the pierced rococo table skirt may be a reference to those featured in the Byrd coat of arms. The bird is the main decorative element in this table surrounded by open fret work.
