Corner Table

This unusual Queen Anne corner table has a triangular top with a serpentine front edge and a skirt which conforms to the shape of the top. There are holes in the sides of the table so that it can be secured to adjacent walls. The single cabriole leg terminates in a pad foot. The knee is decorated with a carved shell and pendant bellflowers. The original is English, circa 1720.
